We are now at 240 entrants with 229 of them still in their chairs hoping to make it to Day 2 and beyond.
Every day during SISMIX, there not only is poker, but also music and partying. Today is no different, as players not playing in today's Day 1c, can head to the pool for a fun party and sun hosted by Claude M, Kech Experience, and PiLC.
As she promised yesterday, Team Winamax pro Aurélie Quélain is back in action joining other late registrants on table 39 including David Laka Calzada, Kewan Bagheri, Pierre Antoine Quignard, Stephane Levy, and Phillippe Garay.
Last year, Quélain finished in 9th place in the Winamax SISMIX Main Event for 73,000 MAD which at the time was approximately worth €7,300 and is hoping to improve on that performance during this year's event.

The field has grown to 202 entrants, which is just 94 shy of the amount that participated yesterday. This is still less than half of the Day 1c field size that took place during last year's Winamax SISMIX Main Event, and tournament organizers are expecting today to feature around the same amount of participants.
During the first two opening days, not a single player was eliminated during the opening blind level. France's Simon Vaur bucked the trend, by busting out of the tournament right before Level 2 began.
All is not lost for Vaur. As an "award" for being the first player eliminated a seat worth 3,200 MAD (€194) to the two-day La Fièvre tournament which kicks off tomorrow.

French footballer who plays for East Bengal FC Bernard Mendy was among the six Winamax VIP footballers to join in on the action during Day 1b. So far, he is the only one of the group in action today.
One of the six we won't see today, but will see tomorrow, is Guillaume Gillet who finished yesterday with an impressive 145,000 chips.

The field is growing and we are up to 152 players. The Winamax staff informs us that most of the Team Winamax members that didn't make it through the field in Day 1a and Day 1b are expected to return to action today. Pierre Calamusa is one of the pro's already involved in the action after joining the field following making an announcement.
After a couple of announcements cards are now in the air. The field to start day 1c is an impressive 135 players.
