Samuel Bovy opened to 16,000 from under the gun. It folded to Adrian Mateos in the big blind who raised to 55,000. Bovy thought about it before folding.

"Even in position I feel out of position," he said to the Spaniard. "Did you have a hand?"

"Sometimes," replied Mateos.

According to our French colleagues, Pierre Andre Devoille opened to 20,000 and called a shove from Quentin Brochard for 118,000.

Pierre Andre Devoille: {8-}{8-}
Quentin Brochard: {j-}{j-}

There was an eight on the {8-}{k-}{a-} flop giving Devoille a set. The turn {q-} and river {6-} changed nothing and Brochard was eliminated, bubbling the Main Event.

Reskallah Eliminated

Aladin Reskallah

Mehdi Saidi opened to 28,000 and Aladin Reskallah three-bet all in for 130,000. Saidi thought about it before calling.

Mehdi Saidi: {j-Spades}{8-Spades}
Aladin Reskallah: {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades} giving no help to Saidi. The turn {j-Hearts} gave him a straight but Reskallah could still make his straight or pair his king. The river, however, was the {5-Diamonds} and he was eliminated.

Kitai Over a Million with Moreau Elimination

Level 26 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Davidi Kitai
Davidi Kitai

Vivien Moreau was all in holding {7-Hearts}{7-Spades} against the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} of Winamax Team Pro Davidi Kitai for 325,000.

The turn {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{a-Hearts} wasn't exactly what Moreau had hoped for, and said aloud that he needed seven, eight or ten. However, he tapped Kitai on the shoulder as the {q-Spades} came on the turn leaving him drawing dead as the river bricked and he was eliminated.

Kitai now sits on over one million in chips.

Baumann Doubles; Mateos Eliminated

Level 27 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Gaelle Baumann
Gaelle Baumann

Gaelle Baumann shoved from under the gun for around 150,000 and it folded to big stack Vincent Descamps in the big blind who called.

Gaelle Baumann: {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Vincent Descamps: {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Descamps probably wasn't expecting a flip, but deuces held on a {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} runout for Baumann to double.

Meanwhile another Winamax Team Pro has been eliminated, with Adrian Mateos losing a flip with {a-}{j-} against the {4-}{4-} of Christian Gruet to bust.

Fraser Macintyre
Fraser Macintyre

In a stunning turn of events, Fraser Macintyre now sits on around three million in chips!

"I'm not really sure," he told us after we inquired as to how he had gotten this monster stack. "These guys kept on coming to the table and saying 'Fraser, would you like to have these chips?'

"I don't think it was good play or anything, just sheer damn luck!"

Former Champion Calamusa Eliminated

Level 30 : 15,000/35,000, 35,000 ante
Pierre Calamusa
Pierre Calamusa

Three big pots is what did for 2015 champion Pierre Calamusa in the end. According to our French colleagues, he four-bet pre-flop and then jammed a {9-}{10-}{4-} flop with {8-}{9-} suited, only for his opponent to call with {q-}{q-}.

That knocked him back, and he then check-raised all in on a {k-}{7-}{5-} flop with two clubs holding {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and failed to get there versus a single opponent.

Finally, blind on blind he lost for his last eight big blinds {6-}{6-} vs {a-}{3-} to bust from the Main Event.
