Level 41 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Joaquim Marques
Joaquim Marques

Pablo Herrera Medina raised with the {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and was called by Gytis Juskevicius from one seat over, Joaquim Marques also called on the button with the {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}.

On the {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, the stacks went in between Marques with the bottom set and the gutshot and nut flush draw of Herrera Medina.

The {9-Hearts} turn provided the flush and the {j-Clubs} river ended the run of Marques in 11th place.

Timothee Marlin Eliminated in 12th Place (€8,700)

Level 41 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Timothee Marlin
Timothee Marlin

One more hand on the outer tables was played and it brought a duel between short stack Timothee Marlin in the big blind and Pablo Herrera Medina from under the gun.

With one quarter of his short stack already invested to the {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} river, Marlin checked and had some 1,850,000 behind. Herrera Medina bet 2,000,000 and that sent Marlin into the tank. He eventually called it off and the Spaniard turned over the {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for rivered two pair.

That was good, as Marlin sighed and exposed his {a-Hearts}{9-Spades} for a hero call gone wrong. The Frenchman became the 12th place finisher and there will now be a longer break of more than half an hour for the redraw of the last two tables.

One hand after his last double up, Adriano Abbracciavento jammed out of the small blind and Hugues Mazerolle snap-called from the big blind.

Adriano Abbracciavento: {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop left the Belgian in desperate shape and the {9-Diamonds} turn sealed his fate, making the {8-Spades} river a formality. There will now be a redraw for the final two tables.

Valentin Oberhauser
Valentin Oberhauser

Valentin Oberhauser was never able to run up his stack despite a short stack double with kings versus fives in the first hand after the three table redraw.

He then jammed a {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop and was instantly called by Adrian Garcia Marin from the next seat.

Valentin Overhauser: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Adrian Garcia Marin: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The gutshot to a superior straight never came on the {7-Diamonds} turn and {a-Diamonds} river to eliminate Oberhauser in 14th place for

Mastrosimone Eliminated by Lamagnere

Level 40 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Kevin Mastrosimone
Kevin Mastrosimone

In a battle of the blinds, Mathieu Lamagnere made it 465,000 to go and Kevin Mastrosimone then pushed for what appeared to be 3,700,000 in order to get quickly called by the new table big stack.

Kevin Mastrosimone: {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Mathieu Lamagnere: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop provided the open-ender for Mastrosimone but he bricked the {10-Spades} turn and {j-Diamonds} river to bow out in 19th place.

There will now be a short break to redraw for the final three tables.

Big Double for Garcia Marin Against Mastrosimone

Level 39 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Adrian Garcia Marin
Adrian Garcia Marin

The last hand on the outer tables provided fireworks in a single-raised pot to the three-way flop of {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Kevin Mastrosimone checked out of the big blind and Adrian Garcia Marin then bet 275,000 in the cutoff. Nicolas Vayssieres raised to 815,000 on the button only for Mastrosimone to check-shove as the biggest stack of the trio.

Garcia Marin called all-in and Vayssieres folded.

Adrian Garcia Marin: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Kevin Mastrosimone: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The middle set was up against top pair and flush draw. Nothing changed on the {5-Diamonds} turn and the {6-Spades} river locked up the double for the Spaniard for 4,275,000.
