Berlandier Takes From Ly

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Heads-up to the {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Benoit Berlandier checked and then called a bet worth 3,000 by Christian Ly. On the {8-Diamonds} turn both players checked and the {a-Diamonds} fell on the river. Berlandier double-checked his cards and checked to Ly, who checked behind and mucked upon discovering the {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a flush by Berlandier.

Any Jacks About?

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Only around 15,000 were in the middle to the {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} river on which Clement Beuzon overbet for 20,000. Fabien Gourvenec gave it some thought and folded the {j-Hearts} to which Beuzon revealed the {j-Spades}.

"Did you have the hearts?" Beuzon inquired in French after the hand was over and Gourvenec nodded.

Gavinet Jams Up his Stack

Level 12 : 700/1,400, 1,400 ante

With an already big pot of around 90,000 looming on a completed board of {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, Alejandro Gavinet pushed for the last 40,500 and that sent Julien Robert deep into the tank. The clock ticked over into the new level when Gavinet eventually earned the pot uncontested as Robert opted to sigh-fold.

Sanchez Pena Wins a Small Pot

Level 12 : 700/1,400, 1,400 ante

On the tail end of a {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} board, Pablo Fernandez Campo checked and then faced a bet worth 5,000 by Victor Sanchez Pena. He tossed in the T-5,000 chip very close to his opponent, expecting to be beaten, and indeed the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} of Sanchez Pena won the pot as Fernandez Campo mucked with a grin on the face.

Juskevicius Scores a Knockout

Level 12 : 700/1,400, 1,400 ante

Kilian Blanco Coscolin was all-in with a short stack and Gytis Juskevicius only called before Victor Caballero raised, which kept Juskevicius. The Lithuanian ended up isolating on the {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades} turn to get rid of Caballero and the {a-}{8-} of Blanco Coscolin were briefly exposed.

However, it was Juskevicius who earned the pot with the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} as the {j-Clubs} river ensured the kicker would play.
