Winamax Poker Open’s €500 Main Event Day 1b in Bratislava Kicks Off at 12 P.M.

The €500 Main Event of the Winamax Poker Open (WPO) in Banco Casino, here in Bratislava, continues today with Day 1b, which is set to kick off today at 12 p.m. local time.

As Day 1a drew to a close last night, a total of 239 entries amassed by the conclusion of late registration, of which 41 players bagged and tagged for the Day 2 restart on Saturday. It was Dominykas Ruskys who bagged the overall chip lead, taking through a total of 856,000 for the Day 2 restart. Ruskys wasn't alone in amassing a plentiful stack as Tom Niveaud also accumulated over 100 big blinds with a stack of 822,000.

Yesterday, two members of the Winamax Team Pro found a stack for Day 2 as Maxime Manzone and Pierre Calamusa bagged totals of 210,000 and 630,000 chips respectively.
Both Estelle Cohuet and Mehdi Chaoui were seen at the felt on Day 1a, but neither managed to find progression to the next stage of the tournament and are anticipated to resurface in today's Day 1 flight.

Alongside Day 1b, players can register for the Day 1c turbo flight starting at 7 p.m. In addition, all attendees are welcome to the Beer Pong event this evening, which also starts at 7 p.m.

Those participating in the main event on Days 1b and d will play through levels of 30 minutes, while those participating in the turbo flights on Days 1c and e will play through levels of 15 minutes. Those to advance to Day 2 and Day 3 will benefit from a clock of 35 minutes and 40 minutes respectively. Each Day 1 will conclude when approximately 16.6% of the field remains; all advancing players will be in the money.
