Halin Makes the Wrong Call
Level 15
: Blinds 1,500/3,500, 3,500 ante
The pot stood at 40,000 with two players looking at a board that read 9♣6♥3♥2♦5♣.
Bastien Halin, in the big blind, checked the action to Pimentel Quintas, on the button. Quintas bet out 41,600, overbetting the size of the pot.
Halin spent a considerable amount of time in the tank before finally making the call. Quintas tabled 4♠4♣ having rivered a straight; good enough to take down this pot.
