Hoogstoel Takes A Lot From Miklosovic
Level 37
: Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
From under the gun, Victor Hoogstoel opened to 325,000, avant was only called by Richard Miklosovic in the small blind.
On the flop J♥A♠7♥, Hoogstoel made a continuation bet of 375,000, but Miklosovic check-raised to 1,200,000. Hoogstoel eventually called.
The J♠ came on the turn, and Miklosovic fired a second barrel of 2,000,000. Hoogstoel called again, but chose to check back on the river 5♥.
First to reveal his cards, Miklosovic showed 6♠6♥. But Hoogstoel had A♣K♣, so he won the pot and took the chiplead.
