The Winamax SISMIX poker festival continues at the Casino de Marrakech in the Es Saadi Resort. Day 2 of the €500 (5,500 Dirham) Main Event is set to take place at 12:00 p.m. local time.

A total of 1,900 entries were made across the four starting flights, making for a prize pool of 10,450,000 dirham, around €952,158 euros. Of those entrants, 319 players have made it through to Day 2 and are now in the money.

There are several players who have over one million chips and French player Mathieu Papineau leads the pack with 1,202,500 chips. Jeremy Palvini has 1,130,000, and Javier Tsunamy is sitting on exactly one million.

Blind levels today are running for 35-minutes as action continues towards the final table and deeper into the money. Payouts will be announced today.

Players who are no longer in the Main Event can still have lots of fun away from the tables. The daily pool party starts at 2 p.m., and later on it's time for Bongo Loco over at Theatro, which will have more than a few surprises. At night, DJs Stone Van Brooken and Cogan will play back to back until the early hours of the morning.

PokerNews will be on the tournament floor to bring you direct coverage of Day 2 as the action unfolds.
