Day 1cd Started
The 5,500 MAD Main Event of the Winamax SISMIX poker festival at the Casino de Marrakech in the Es Saadi Resort, here in Morocco, continues today with Day 1c, which is set to kick off today at 12 p.m. local time.
As Day 1b drew to a close last night, a record-breaking total of 824 entries amassed by the conclusion of late registration, the largest in flight in SISMIX history, of which 136 players bagged and tagged for the Day 2 restart on Saturday. It was Anas Tadini who bagged the overall chip lead, taking through a massive 1,042,000. Tadini was the only player yesterday to eclipse the one million chip mark, with his closest competitor being Matthieu Lamagnere, who will be taking through a stack of 997,000.
Lamagnere will be looking to improve upon his impressive record set in 2017 as he won the SISMIX High Roller and finished second and third in Winamax Poker Open Main Events.

"On my first two hands, I had AxKx," Charlotte Robb said as PokerNews was walking by her table.
On the next hand, she opened to 600 from the small blind and was called by Mehdi Hadj Rabah in the big blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of Q♦Q♥9♣, and she continued for 500. Hadj Rabah called, so Robb fired a second barrel of 1,300 on the 6♥ turn.
This time, it was a bit too much for Hadj Rabah, who folded.
