Winamax Poker Open Heads to Aix-Les-Bains for €500 Main Event
After a record-breaking Winamax SISMIX Main Event in Marrakech in May, the Winamax Poker Open moves to France after three years in Bratislava, with the 2025 Winamax Poker Open Aix-les-Bains set to kick off today, September 17, at Casino Grand Cercle d'Aix-les-Bains at noon local time.
Located around an hour outside Lyon on the banks of Lake Bourget, the tournament offers the perfect opportunity for players to mix pleasure with poker, with a full schedule of social events arranged to compliment the poker action.
The highlight of the schedule is the €500 buy-in Winamax Poker Open Main Event. The tournament is a six-max affair, and players will sit down with a 50,000 starting stack at blind level 100/200, with a 200 big blind ante.
Day 1a is the first of four starting flights, with the clock set to 30-minute levels. Play will continue in each starting flight until 16.6% of the field remains, all of whom will be in the money. Late registration will be open until the start of Level 14 in each starting flight.
The players will return on September 20 for Day 2, where blinds will be increased to 35-minute levels, with the final day scheduled to take place at 12:30 p.m. on September 21, where the clock will be set to 40-minute levels.

In terms of entertainment, the world famous Winamax Beer Pong Open takes place tonight at 7:30 p.m., with the Winamax Darts Open and Bongo Loco, a crazy variation of bingo, to come during the rest of the week, as well as nightly DJ sets, ensuring the party goes long into the night.
Numerous Winamax ambassadors are expected to be in attendance, including WSOP Main Event final tablist Leo Margets, Mustapha Kanit, Davidi Kitai and Pierre Calamusa.
The previous edition of the tournament was in Bratislava in 2024, and Aliosha Staes of Belgium emerged victorious, taking home €90,000 after defeating Timothe Labassa heads-up.
