Around 40,000 was in the middle by the turn, on a board of 8♣2♥2♦10♥, in a hand between Amir Almoman under the gun and Matheo Manzone in the big blind.
Manzone checked, and Almoman fired out a bet of 20,000. Manzone responded with a check-jam to 80,000, and Almoman went into the tank.
Almoman thought things through for at least three minutes, muttering to himself in French the whole time, and variously putting his hands to his head and in the air in exasperation.
Eventually, he flicked in a calling chip.
