Benisti Bluff Catches; Caillou Hoping for Third Time Lucky
Kamel El Bouzidi limped from middle position, before Remi Gazen raised to 1,200 from the button. Sebastien Benisti called in the small blind, as did El Bouzidi.
The Q♥J♣9♠ flop was checked through to the Q♠ turn, where Benisti checked. El Bouzidi slid out a bet of 1,300, and both of his opponents called.
The 9♦ river completed the board, and Benisti checked once more. El Bouzidi fired out a bet of 3,300, Gazen folded, and Benisti called after some thought.
El Bouzidi looked sheepish and was reluctant to table his cards, eventually showing only the K♣. Benisti tabled A♥J♦ for two pair. queens and jacks, and El Bouzidi mucked.
Florian Caillou is at the table, after bubbling Day 1a and soft-bubbling Day 1b, both with ace-king. If ever a player deserved a min cash, it's him.
