Belaidouni Gets Max Value
Level 25
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
A pot of 500,000 had developed by the turn, in a hand between Kamalle Belaidouni in the big blind and Yassine Siala on the button, with the board reading 10♠8♦2♣J♦.
Belaidouni had jammed from the big blind for 700,000, just covering Siala, who had around 600,000 behind.
Siala was deep in the tank, and eventually a table mate called the clock. With five seconds left, Siala flicked in a calling chip.
Yassine Siala: Q♠J♠
Kamalle Belaidouni: Q♦Q♣
Siala had turned top pair but he had run into Beladidouni's overpair, and was drawing to a jack. It did not arrive on the 6♣ river.
