A pot of 1,350,000 had developed on a flop of A♣6♣4♠, in a hand between Eric Viel in early position and Steven Lamalle on the button.
Viel checked and Lamelle fired out a bet of 300,000. Viel responded with a check-raise to 1,200,000, leaving himself around 1,800,000.
Lamalle didn't take long before sticking it right back in Viel's face, with a three-bet jam with the covering stack.
Viel looked surprised and duly pained, and folded after around two minutes of thought.
Lamalle showed Q♣8♣ for the queen-high flush draw, and Viel grimaced some more.
