With around 68,000 in the middle on a board of K♥5♥4♠3♣, both Damien Mecheri and Eric Ravier checked to see the 2♠ river.
Mecheri fired out an overbet of 85,000, and after some time in the tank, Ravier folded.
Kevin Hechler limped from the small blind, and called a raise to 24,000 from Jacky Trabac in the big blind.
On the A♦4♥3♦ flop, Hechler checked to Trabac, who fired out a bet of 10,000. After some thought, Hechler produced a check-raise to 24,000, which failed to shake off Trabac.
The J♣ hit on the turn, and Hechler took quite some time before checking to his opponent. Trabac quickly slid out a bet of 28,000, and Hechler mucked.

As the Main Event is approached the money, the other Main Event of the day, the Winamax Beer Pong Open, was at the center of the party scene.
All evening long, dozens of duos battled it out at the beer pong tables — some for fun, others with full-on competitive spirit. Among those who fit into both categories, one could have safely bet on Antoine Goutard and Ugo Taurines, who formed the “WebTV Marrakech” team, named after their Twitch channel.
And indeed, after a fantastic run, they were the ones who went on to claim victory in this very first edition in Aix-les-Bains. Right after locking up the win, they ran to the main tournament room to celebrate with their friends still grinding in the Main Event.
They’ll now have the chance to go for a double victory in the coming days at the poker tables, and maybe even a triple, with the Winamax Darts Open scheduled for tomorrow.
The players have been sent on a 15-minute break, with 64 players currently still seated, and Day 1a due to conclude when the field is reduced to 59 players.
A pot of 70,000 had developed by the turn on K♠10♦7♠J♦, in a battle of the blinds between Anne Trebitsch and Yacine Adamon.
Trebitsch jammed for around 103,000, and Adamon went deep into thought.
After around two minutes, he folded, seemingly reluctantly.
Florian Arnould was all-in for around 110,000 and at risk against Yahueni Rudzianok.
Florian Arnould: A♣K♠
Yahueni Rudzianok: A♠4♠
Arnould looked in good shape for the double-up, but he was drawing dead by the turn on the 8♦8♥4♥4♦10♠ runout, Rudzianok hitting a full house.
