Ghennoune had 9♥9♦ for top set versus Boos' K♦7♦ for a monster draw, but he bricked the J♣ turn and 3♠ river.

Guerin needed some help, and he fell further behind after the 8♣6♠2♦ flop gave Riguet top pair.
However the Q♦ hit on the turn to reverse the positon, and the J♦ river confirmed Guerin's double-up.
A pot of 350,000 had developed by the river, on a board of K♥10♠8♥8♦9♣, in a hand between Benjamin Huentz and William Monteiro.
Huentz jammed with the covering stack, and Monteiro took about two minutes before calling off for the 110,000 he had left behind.
Huentz tabled Q♣J♣ for the rivered straight, and Monteiro tapped the table as he flipped A♥K♦ for two pair kings and eights, and wished the table good luck as he departed.
Marine Khamvongsa was all-in for around 100,000 and at risk versus Yann Maillard.

Khamvongsa couldn't have got it in better, but her hopes of a deep run were crushed after the 9♣9♥4♥ flop, the 4♣ turn and 8♣ river sealing a cruel exit.
Around 70,000 had made its way into the middle, on a flop of A♣Q♠J♠, in a button versus big blind scenario between Marine Khamvongsa and Vitor Freitas.
Freitas check-called a bet of 15,000 to see the K♣ turn, which was quickly checked through to the K♦ river.
Freitas thought for around 30 seconds, before moving all in for 107,000. He just covered Khamvongsa, and she folded after a bit of contemplation.
Thomas Bus opened to 25,000 from the cutoff and Day 1b chip leader Steven Lamalle defended the big blind.
On the J♠10♣6♠ flop, Lamalle check-called a bet of 30,000 from Bus.
The K♥ hit on the turn, and the same pattern followed, this time in respect of a bet of 100,000 from Bus.
The 7♣ river completed the board. Lamalle checked for a third time, and Bus didn't take too long before moving all-in for 332,000.
Lamalle went into the tank, and after about 90 seconds of thought, flicked in a calling chip.
Bus flipped over Q♠9♥ for the turned straight, and Lamalle mucked.
