Moneymaker Does It Again

Chris Moneymaker opened to 8,000 and it folded around to the short stacked player in the big blind who opted to call.

The flop came down {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and the big blind checked. Moneymaker pushed out a continuation bet of 10,000 only to have his opponent move all in for a little over 20,000 total. Moneymaker shrugged and called with {A-Spades}{3-Spades} for ace high which was trailing his opponent's flopped top pair with {Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

The dealer pounded the table and just like that the {A-Hearts} rolled off on the turn giving Moneymaker the lead. The {K-Spades} completed the board and Moneymaker was able to bring us one elimination closer to cashing.

Moneymaker turned around and saw our reporter standing to record the hand and the entire table burst out in laughter as Moneymaker once again proclaimed that PokerNews is only around when he gets his money in bad. Once again, regardless of how he does it he's currently sitting on chips and is looking healthy with about 140,000.
