Back and Forth

Level 33 : 75,000/150,000, 20,000 ante

Andy Robinson opened to 350,000 on the button and Aaron Massey popped it to 775,000 from the big blind. A call from Robinson landed a {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop which Massey fired 810,000 at. Robinson folded quickly, giving the pot to Massey.

Two hands later Robinson limped on the button and Massey checked his option.

The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Massey check-called 150,000 from Robinson to see the {4-Hearts} turn. Another check from Massey led to a bet of 400,000 from Robinson. Massey, though, popped it to 1,075,000. Robinson called, landing the {4-Diamonds} river.

Both players checked and Massey immediately stood up.

"Counterfeited," Massey said, as he showed {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

Robinson tabled {K-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for kings and fours, just as Massey had suspected.

"Knew you had a king," Massey said.
