Norman Gauthier was in the hijack and had 210,000 in front of him. Eric Afriat was in the cutoff and moved all-in with 1,039,000. Gauthier was in the tank and eventually called.
Afriat tabled for a straight to the six, and Gauthier disappointingly tabled for top set.

The WPT champion is now up to 2,200,000 in chips, while Gauthier is down to 505,000.
Fakher Alizai raised to 12,000 from the hijack and got a call from Karim Abdelhamid in the cutoff. Action was on Said Michailidis on the button and he decided to put in a three-bet to 35,000. Alizai quickly called and Abdelhamid tanked for about a minute before calling also.
The flop came and action checked to Michailidis who bet 47,000. Both of his opponents folded and he raked in the pot.
Michailidis is now up to 2,300,000 in chips in just the third level of the day.
Kathy Sawers raised to 15,000 from the hijack and action was on her neighbor, David Guay, in the cutoff. He paused for a moment and made it 45,000 to go. Manfred Gunther called from the big blind and Sawers followed suit.
The flop came and action checked to Guay who bet 43,000. Gunther called and Sawers folded.
The turn was the . Gunther checked again and this time Guay put out a hefty bet of 184,000. Gunther wasted no time and sent his cards into the muck.
Guay is now up to 2,175,000 chips, looking to build on his hot summer at the World Series of Poker this year. He came in second place in the $1,000 NL Tag Team event with his best friend and Millionaire Maker winner Pablo Mariz, and then went deep in the Main Event to finish in 22nd place for over $260,000.
On a board reading , with 100,000 in the pot already, Manfred Gunther checked from the small blind, as did the player in the big blind. Kathy Sawers was in middle position and bet 65,000.
