Day 1d Started
The final starting flight of the $1,100 Playground1000 $1,000,000 Guaranteed event starts up at 12:00 p.m. with a turbo structure.
Players begin with 100,000 chips but will play 20-minute levels instead of the regular 60-minute structure. There will only be one 10-minute break today after Level 5, and players will complete their session after nine levels.
Day 2 will begin at 5:00 p.m. later today and will play a total of eight levels worth 60 minutes a piece.
So far, 339 players have advanced to Day 2 from the one online Day 1 and three live Day 1's. The chip leader is currently Armand 'Oyster King' King with 685,100 after leading at the end of Day 1b.
Players have the option of re-entering once today during Day 1d. Should players buy in directly to Day 2 and bust, one re-entry is permitted. The same goes for a player who advances from a Day 1 flight - just one re-entry will be permitted. All re-entries are allowed until the start of Level 12.

2010 World Series of Poker bracelet winner and 2008 November Niner Scott Montgomery has taken his seat here on Day 1d and looks to add to his $4.7 million in live career earnings with a deep run here.
Montgomery earned himself a bracelet in a $1,000 No Limit Hold'em event at the WSOP in 2010, pocketing $481,760. This came just two years after making the final table of the 2008 Main Event where he earned over $3 million for his 5th place finish.
The Canadian is still hunting for his first win on home soil and has had some deep runs right here at Playground, so look for him to make waves this series.

We got to the table with pre-flop action taking place and Chanracy Khun had three-bet to 4,700 out of the small blind. Joseph Avila was in the hijack and appeared to be the original raiser. He decided to put in a four-bet to 11,500 and Khun thought for about a minute before deciding to call.
The flop came and Khun checked. Avila continued with his story and bet 16,500. Khun wasted no time and released his hand, sending an early pot to Avila.
