Dealer's Choice 8-Max
Day 1 Started
The World Cup of Cards has three events today. The first event today is the CAD $110 Dealer's Choice 8-Max. Players can choose from any flop games, including five-card Pot-Limit Omaha. There was a possible mistake on the structure sheet and Pot-Limit Omaha Eight or better may not be part of the tournament. However, both Pineapple and Crazy Pineapple will be.
This event is a little different than some other Dealer's Choice events. The player on the button picks the game for that hand and then the next player will pick the game for the next hand, as opposed to a full orbit or round of the dealer's choice.
Event #10 will have 20 minute levels, as with most of the single day events during the WCC. The players will be competing for the first place prize, the World Cup of Cards trophy, and tournament leadboard points. The leadboard winner at the end of the series will get a Carribean Package valued at CAD $8,000.
Pokernews will be here throughout the festival, bringing you all the news, updates, and photos. Follow @pokernews on Twitter for live-updates, Periscope broadcasts, and more. Also, follow Pokernews on Facebook.
The remaining 25 players are back from break and Level 10 has begun. Blinds have increased to 800/1.6k with an average stack of 38,400.
