Tanveer Dhanjal bagged 553,000 after eliminating Sander Straus and ending the final starting flight of WPT National Montreal.

A total of 135 players joined the seventh and final flight, which was a turbo. That broke the CAD $400,000 guarantee as 871 entries took their shot at Day 2 and only 44 players made it through. Dhanjal bagged the biggest stack of this flight, but Senthuran Vijayaratnam bagged the overall chip lead with 797,000.

Tomorrow's flight begins at 1 p.m. and will play down to the final six players. The blinds will start at 2,000/4,000 with a 500 ante. The field will play the final five minutes of that flight and then player 40 minute levels after that. The 44 remaining players are guaranteed CAD $1,500 and the first prize is CAD $80,000.
