More than a Little Hit

Level 8 : 200/400, 50 ante
Jonathan Little
Jonathan Little

Action folded to Jonathan Little on the button and he raised to 600. The small blind folded, but Mark Greer opted to three-bet all in for 3,975 more from the big blind. Little asked for a count and then dropped in a call.

Little: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Greer: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

It was a good call by Little, but Greer was drawing to two live cards. The {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop made things interesting as it gave Little two pair and Greer an open-ended straight draw. The {8-Hearts} turn was equally as exciting as for Greer as he picked up a flush draw. The dealer burned one last time and put out the {7-Hearts}. Greer hit his flush to double while Little took a big hit to his stack.
