Brkic on The Rise, Knocks out Roberts

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Uros Brkic already took a lot of chips from Joachim Chia and he just knocked out Andrew Roberts in a battle of the blinds. It was a flip with the {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} for Brkic in the small blind and the {2-Spades} {2-Hearts} for Roberts one seat over.

The {Q-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {10-Spades} flop was already quite scary and Roberts tapped the table when the {A-Spades} appeared on the turn. Only a deuce could save Roberts but the {Q-Hearts} river sent him to the rail just shy of the money.
