Negreanu Doubles Through Sylvia

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

From the button, Jesse Sylvia raised to 900. Daniel Negreanu, winner of last year's World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific Main event, called from the big blind, and the flop came down {K-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Negreanu checked, and Sylvia bet 700. Negreanu check-raised all in for 4,050, and Sylvia tank-called with the {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Negreanu had the {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

The turn was the {3-Spades}, and the river was the {5-Diamonds} to keep Negreanu in the lead and give the six-time WSOP gold bracelet winner the double up. Sylvia was left with approximately 15,000 in chips.
