Ami Barer Eliminated in 11th Place (AU$7,747)

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Reigning Aussie Millions Main Event champion Ami Barer was all in for his last 20,000 or so with the {Q-Clubs}{J-Spades} against Yu Kurita. Barer was dominated, though, as Kurita had the powerful {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.

The {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop did give Barer a gutshot straight draw for some hope, but the {A-Hearts} turn card and {2-Diamonds} river card couldn't do it for him, and he was eliminated.
