Habb Finds Jacks to Double

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

From the button, Mikel Habb raised to 1,500 and Tobias Reinkemeier three-bet the small blind to 4,500. Habb four-bet to 16,500 and Reinkemeier pushed out a stack of yellow 5,000-denomination chips to put Habb all in. Habb made the call for his final 48,800 and the cards were tabled.

Habb: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Reinkemeier: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

Fortunately for Habb, the board ran out {7-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} to see the local player double to roughly 100,000 as Reinkemeier slipped to 132,500 in chips.

2012 Aussie Millions Champ Gets Lucky to Stay Alive

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

George Danzer opened for 1,200 from the button only to have 2012 Aussie Millions champ Oliver Speidel three-bet jam for 13,425 from the small blind. Casey Kastle, Slovenia's all-time money winner, then four-bet all in over the top from the big. Danzer laughed a bit before releasing his hand and Speidel discovered he was in a bad spot.

Kastle: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Speidel: {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

Kastle woke up with a big pocket pair, and Speidel needed a lot of help to stay alive. Much to the dismay of Kastle, who was visibly annoyed, the flop came down {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Spades} to give Speidel the lead with two pair. Kastle still had some outs, but none of them came as the {4-Hearts} blanked on the turn followed by the {5-Hearts} on the river.

Quoss' Day is Done

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

Not long ago Fabian Quoss was crippled when his {q-}{7-} flop two pair was second best to an opponent's {10-}{q-} two pair. The German was left with an extremely short stack, and according to Timo Pfutzenreuter, Quoss got it in a short time later holding {9-}{9-} and was racing against an opponent with {k-}{q-}. Quoss got it in good, but his opponent improved.

Zizic Makes The Call

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

We arrived at the with the board already showing {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. Tam Truong had bet out 16,000 from the big blind and was waiting on a decision from Tatjana Zizic in the cut off. A minute passed before Zizic made the call as the {a-Clubs} completed the board.

Truong reached down for his chips and bet out 32,000 sending Zizic into the tank once more. The bet had Zizic almost covered as she took her time. A minute passed and she made the call as Truong reluctantly tabled his {10-Spades}{8-Clubs} for a bluff. Zizic then tabled her {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of aces as she raked in the large pot.

Chip Leader Pot for Zhou

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante
Ivan Zhou
Ivan Zhou

Sean Winter opened and got called by Suraj Dutt as well as Ivan Zhou in the big blind. Zhou bet the {2-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} flop for 1,500 and Winter folded, Dutt raisedto 4,000 and called the three-bet to 11,500 by Zhou. On the {Q-Spades} turn there were almost 30,000 in the pot and Zhou put his opponent all in for almost double the pot.

Dutt ended up hero-calling with pocket sixes but it was no good as Zhou had the {7-Diamonds} {7-Hearts}. The {6-Spades} on the river just rubbed it in even more and Dutt was sent to the rail.
