Bujok Takes Colossal Pot with Cowboys

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Szymon Bujok
Szymon Bujok

Szymon Bujok opened to 2,000 from early position and Martin Raus three-bet to 6,700 from the hijack. Rene Majed then put in a four-bet to 17,000 from the small blind that was called by both Bujok and Raus.

Majed fired a 14,000 continuation bet on the 332 flop that was called by both Bujok and Raus.

On the K turn action checked around to Raus, who moved all in for 47,500. Majed thought for about one minute before making the call, only for Bujok to raise to 100,000. After another minute in the tank Majed mucked his hand leaving Raus all in and at risk.

Martin Raus: AJ
Szymon Bujok: KK

Raus had made an ambitious bluff with ace-high and was drawing dead against Bujok who had turned a full house. The 5 river was inconsequential and Bujok dragged in a massive pot, putting himself among the chip leaders of the tournament currently while making a major dent in Majed's stack and sending Raus to the rail.
