Aldemir Has Four of the Same Card
Aliaksandr Hirs opened in early position to 5,000 before the action was on WSOP Main Event Champion Koray Aldemir in the cutoff. He did some accounting of his chips and Hirs chips and then put in a three-bet to 13,000. It folded back to Hirs who called.
The K♠5♥J♠ flop landed and the action checked to Aldemir who continued for 6,500 before Hirs promptly check-raised to 20,000. Aldemir called and the K♥ rolled off on the turn.
Hirs took a moment and then put out another bet of 21,000. Aldemir called again.
The 6♥ rolled off on the river and Hirs wasted little time before moving all in. Aldemir snapped.
Hirs showed Q♥10♥ for a flopped open-ender and rivered flush before the Main Event Champion showed K♣K♦ for quads to scoop and send Hirs to the rail.
