Juan Pardo opened the action with a raise to 35,000 from the hijack, before Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 80,000 on the button. It folded back to Pardo who made the call.
After the flop came Q♣8♣5♦ both players checked to the 4♣ on the turn. Negreanu then called a bet of 150,000 from Pardo.
The river was the 6♥ and Pardo bet out 370,000, leaving just 30,000 chips behind. After giving it some thought, Negreanu made the call. Pardo tabled J♣10♥ for just jack high, and Negreanu had the winner when he showed Q♥J♠ to take the pot, and leave Pardo short.
Pardo was left with just two big blinds after the hand and was seen leaving the tournament area after being eliminated the next hand.
