Chidwick Makes Hero Call to Take Big Chip Lead
Level 29
: Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick raised to 1,800,000 in the small blind, before Yang Wang three-bet to 5,400,000. Chidwick made the call.
Both players checked to the river and the board ran out 10♠J♥2♦8♠2♠. Wang then bet 5,000,000, and after sitting in the tank, Chidwick found the call.
Wang flipped over A♦K♥8♣3♣ for two pair, eights and deuces, while Chidwick had the winner with K♦Q♥J♦10♣ to take the pot with the bigger two pair, jacks and tens.
