The Chase for Poker's Largest Ever Guaranteed Prize Pool Begins in $25,000 Super Main Event

WSOP Paradise Feature Table
WSOP Paradise Feature Table

After an exciting opening week at the 2025 World Series of Poker Paradise, the stage is set for the largest guaranteed prize pool in poker history to be awarded over the next nine days.

Back this year and bigger than ever before, Event #11: $25,000 Super Main Event features a record $60,000,000 guarantee with four starting flights of the headline event beginning today. Action will get underway on Day 1a at 12:00 p.m. local time, with players from around the world looking to navigate their way through the first ten levels at Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas.

The first WSOP Paradise Main Event took place in 2023, when Stanislav Zegal won the $5,000-entry edition by defeating a field of 3,010 entries. The online qualifier took home $2,000,000 and a bracelet for his life-altering victory.

Last year, the WSOP went one step further and increased the buy-in to $25,000, accompanied by a $50,000,000 guarantee. That produced 1,978 entries, and 24-year old Yinan Zhou bluffed his way past poker royalty to earn the top prize of $6,000,000.

Many of the world's best poker players are expected to take their shot this year, along with GGPoker qualifiers from around the globe.

The schedule for each opening flight calls for ten levels to be played, each lasting 60 minutes. Players will start with 500,000 chips in their stack, with unlimited reentries available until the start of Level 14 on Day 2.

Blinds will begin at 1,000/2,000 and a 2,000 big blind ante, and breaks will occur after every two levels of play. The schedule also includes a 60-minute dinner break after Level 6.

Players that find a bag on Day 1a and Day 1b will then advance to Day 2a on December 12. That will be followed by the last two opening flights, as Day 1c and Day 1b will place survivors into Day 2b on December 15. The remaining field will then combine for Day 3, as they battle toward the money bubble and a shot at one of the largest top poker prizes ever.

WSOP Paradise Parlay

The WSOP has a new Paradise Parlay promotion, that could see players pocket an extra $250,000 on top of regular tournament winnings in the $25,000 Super Main Event.

The initiative offers a tiered bonus structure for players who’ve already enjoyed strong results in 2025. Any eligible participant who cashes in the Super Main Event earns an additional $25,000, while those who reach the final table will receive $100,000. If any eligible player goes on to win the event outright, they'll take home the ultimate prize: $250,000.

Paradise Parlay Qualifications

Eligibility is reserved for those who have:

  • Cashed in seven or more live bracelet events during the 2025 WSOP in Las Vegas,
  • Cashed in the WSOP Main Event, or
  • Won a WSOP bracelet this year, including those from WSOP Europe or WSOP Online.
