Negreanu Chipping Up
Level 9
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu raised to 40,000 in middle position, and Antoine Sankari answered with a three-bet to 120,000. Action folded back around to Negreanu, who made the call.
The 3♣8♠2♥ flop produced a check from Negreanu, and Sankari continued for 65,000. Another call led to the K♥ turn, where Negreanu check-called a bet of 160,000.
One last check from Negreanu followed the 6♣ river, and Sankari checked behind.
"Nice check," said Negreanu after showing 7♠7♣ to win the pot as Sankari mucked. Negreanu indicated he was calling any bet from Sankari, and was able to add new chips to his stack.
