Theologis Finds a Blind Pair
Level 10
: Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
With Alexandros Theologis sitting all in for his last 5,000 in the small blind, Gabriel Andrade raised to 50,000 in early position. Vinicius Camargo called in the hijack, and Brek Schutten defended his big blind.
Schutten checked the J♣3♣4♥ flop, and Andrade fired 125,000 into the middle. That produced folds from Camargo and Schutten, leaving Theologis at risk heads-up.
Alexandros Theologis: 2♥2♦
Gabriel Andrade: A♠10♦
Theologis was thrilled to see a pair in his hand, and it held through the 6♥ turn and 9♥ river to stay alive.
