Alvarez Shows Serock a Pair
Level 2
: Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Manuel Alvarez opened to 6,000 in early position, making the call when Joe Serock three-bet to 22,000 in the cutoff. Both players checked through the 6♠2♦6♣ flop, and Alvarez led out for 15,000 on the 8♦ turn.
Serock called to the 10♥ river, where Alvarez fired again for 30,000. After taking some time, Serock tossed in the call.
Alvarez tabled 9♠9♦, taking down the pot as Serock mucked.
