Binder Builds Through Thorel
Level 36
: Blinds 3,000,000/6,000,000, 6,000,000 ante
Jean-Noel Thorel opened to 12,000,000 with 7♥7♦ in the hijack, and Bernhard Binder called holding Q♥9♥ in the big blind.
Binder checked after seeing the K♥Q♠4♦ flop, and Thorel continued for 14,000,000. Binder called with his pair of queens, and the 8♥ turn hit the table.
Action quickly checked through to the 9♣ river, and Binder led out for 45,000,000. Thorel took some time before sticking in the call.
Binder tabled his two pair, taking another sizeable pot from Thorel.
