Kulev Takes Down Einhorn's Set of Aces
Level 14
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Tom Heung opened the action with a raise to 30,000 from early position, which Alex Kulev in the small blind called before David Einhorn in the big blind three-bet to 90,000. Heung folded, but Kulev came along to see the K♣A♣2♥ flop.
Both players checked the flop to see the 4♥ on the turn. Kulev led out for 135,000, and Einhorn made the call. The river brought the 8♣, and Kulev moved all in for 444,000, which Einhorn called. Kulev tabled 10♣9♣ for a flush, and Einhorn, in disgust, tossed top set A♠A♦ in the muck, as Kulev secured the double-up.
