Pham Holds to Double

Josh Noy

Level 23 : Blinds 50,000/125,000, 125,000 ante

Cong Pham raised to 275,000 in early position, and Sergio Aido was the only caller in the big blind.

The dealer fanned out the 4♦8♠J♦ flop, and Aido checked. Pham continued for 300,000, with Aido then check-raising to 800,000.

Pham replied by moving all in, and Aido called.

Cong Pham: K♣K♥ All in
Sergio Aido: K♦Q♦

Pham was able to dodge Aido's outs on the 8♣ turn and 7♣ river, staying alive and doubling up.
