Hey! That Was My Soda

Stephan Ouzilou opened the pot under the gun with a raise to 7,500, and the action folded all the way around to the blinds. In the small, Joel Benzinou stuck in a three-bet to 23,500, and Ouzilou quickly made the call.

Heads up, the flop came out {9-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}. Benzinou methodically began to cut out chips, and Ouzilou was mirroring his every move, cutting out matching chips from his own stack and adjusting the amount in his hand as Benzinou made up his mind. He finally settled on 32,500, and the calling chips of Ouzilou went into the pot simultaneously.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds}, and Benzinou acted very deliberately again. He would pull a big bet from his stack and think it over for several minutes before slowly checking. Ouzilou checked in unison, and the river was the {10-Diamonds}. As if his chips were made of glass, Benzinou placed a bet of 52,000 in the middle. Ouzilou instantly announced an all in, and Benzinou mucked just as quickly. He shot out of his chair and stormed to the rail, sending his chair and a table full of drinks crashing to the floor in the process.

He's slipped back to about 90,000 after that misstep, and Ouzilou is now very near the top of the board with about 310,000.
