Let's Find That Final Table

It's not really hard to find either, the players are already known. It's just that there's 30 of them, while the final table will consist of 6 players. Today will most likely be a long day, and PokerNews will again be your primary source of information, with all the big hands, the set ups, the coolers, the brilliantly played hands, and the dusted off stacks.

Antonio Buonanno is leading right now with 1,175,000 in chips. Not even that close on his heels are Serdar Sağlam (800,000), Christner (721,000), Alexander Lakhov (641,000), [Removed:2] (628,000), Oliver Price (626,000) and Toby Lewis (617,000). A lot of familiar names still left in the tournament, who can get to that big final table.

$310,000 awaits the winner, but that cheque (and accompanying trophy and $15,400 WPT World Championships ticket) will be awarded tomorrow. The fourth day starts in an hour, so check back soon!

Price Doubles Through Buonanno

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Oliver Price
Oliver Price

We missed the pre flop action, but we imagine it went something like raise from Buonanno from under the gun plus one, call from Evgeny Starikov on the button, call from Oliver Price in the small blind.

Price checked to Buonanno on {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}, and the Italian chip leader followed his pre flop aggression up with a 35,000 continuation bet. Starikov made the call, but Price had bigger plans. The Brit check raised to 80,000 and action was back on Buonanno. He announced all in, and Starikov was quick to lay down his hand. Price double checked his hand, called, and was all in for a 1.2 million pot.

Oliver Price: {9-Spades}{10-Spades}
Antonio Buonanno: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The 120 big blind pot was sure to go to Price as soon as the {6-Clubs} on the turn hit. The {8-Hearts} fell on the river to make things official, and in one of the first hands Buonanno handed half his stack to Price, who's now the chip leader.

Oleksandr Gnatenko Eliminated in 27th Place ($10,800)

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Oleksandr Gnatenko
Oleksandr Gnatenko

Oleksandr Gnatenko committed his chips before the flop with {9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, but ran into the {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} of Paolo Petrucci.

Gnatenko smiled, but his elimination was at hand.

The {K-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs} left Gnatenko hping for runner runner, but it wouldn't come.

The {3-Hearts} on the turn sealed the deal, and Gnatenko got up from the table and headed to the pay out desk.

The {10-Clubs} on the river paired him up, but it wasn't enough.

Sofia Lövgren Eliminated in 26th Place ($10,800)

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Sofia Lövgren
Sofia Lövgren

Sofia Lövgren started out with 22 big blinds, but was slashed back to just 5 at the beginning of the day. Details of what had happened aren't around as of now, but we do have the specifics on her last hand,

The cutoff opened for 20,000, and Dmitry Gromov three bet from the button to 55,000. The small blind folded, but Sofia Lövgren in the big blind called all in for 52,000. The cutoff folded, it was up to Lövgren and Gromov.

Dmitry Gromov: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Sofia Lövgren: {10-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

Lövgren's hand was live, but she wouldn't hit: {K-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

Back to Sweden with $10,800 it is for Lövgren.

Alexander Bogdanov Eliminated in 19th Place ($13,800)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Alexander Bogdanov
Alexander Bogdanov

Ori Miller opened the button for 24,000, and Alexander Bogdanov shoved all in from the small blind for just about 200,000. The big blind folded, Miller made the call as soon as he found out how much it was.

Miller: {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Bogdanov: {A-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{5-Hearts} left some outs for a chop, and the {A-Spades} on the turn brought a flush draw, but paired both. The {8-Clubs} on the river wasn't high enough, and Alexander Bogdanov made his exit.

Oliver Price Eliminated in 11th Place ($22,500)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Oliver Price
Oliver Price

Igor Devkin opened to 40,000, from the cutoff, and Nicolas Chouity three-bet to 105,000 from the button. The small blind folded, but Oliver Price in the big blind wasn't so eager to throw his cards away without a fight. Price, who was caught bluffing not too long ago, four-bet to 240,000.

Devkin knew enough and gave up, but Chouity went into the tank. Eventually, the Lebanese asked for a count on Price's stack, but the Brit did not respond.

But Price did hear the request, because after Chouity announced all in, Price snap called.

Nicolas Chouity: {A-Hearts} {K-Spades}
Oliver Price: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades}

That's what they call a race, and this one was for the chip lead in the tournament with just two tables left. You could say this was the most important hand of the tournament for the both of them.

The dealer put the flop out there: {Q-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}. Both made sure if they had any diamond (they didn't), and Price realized he was well in the lead. Just a jack could spoil his day, or runner runner diamonds for a chop of course.

The dealer burned (slowly), and turned (again slowly) the {J-Diamonds}! Price couldn't believe it, and got up from the table with his hands in his hair.

Price still had outs for the chop, or for the win. Price needed a diamond or pair the board, but got neither: {6-Spades}.

With that nothing card, Price hit the rail, as Chouity build a enormous stack and moved it to the last table of 10 of the tournament.

Christen's Big Bluff Fails

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Ori Miller
Ori Miller

Action folded to Ori Miller in the small blind, and he completed by adding 12,000. Christian Christner in the big blind raised it up to 65,000, and Miller made the call.

The flop came {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and Miller calmly checked by knocking on the table. Christner bet out 81,000, and Miller contemplated his options. He decided to raise after some thinking, making it 194,000.

Now it was up to Christner again, who at one point grabbed his 81,000 back with the intention to raise it looked like. There was some misunderstanding about what was going on for the dealer, but eventually Christner raised to 318,000. Miller didn't waste much time calling.

The {K-Hearts} fell on the turn, and again Miller checked. Christner now pushed all in, effectively asking Miller to commit his last 439,000 as well. Miller quickly called, and the cards went on their backs.

Miller: {9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Christner: {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Miller said he knew Christner had nothing when he three bet the flop, as they awaited the river. The {Q-Clubs} fell, and Miller doubled. Christner is now the short stack.

Antonio Buonanno FLops Quads And Doubles

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Ori Miller opened to 50,000 from early position, and in middle position Antonio Buonanno made it 130,000 with just around 540,000 behind. Action folded quickly to Miller, who four-bet to 225,000. Buonanno, who started the hand short, made the call.

{A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

Miller made a 105,000 continuation bet, and Buonanno called.

"Have you ever seen a flop like this at a final table?" asked Nicolas Chouity us, leaning back in his chair.

The {8-Diamonds} fell on the turn, and Miller shoved all in. Buonanno made the call for his 338,000, and right away gave Miller the bad news by showing {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}.

Miller had a beautiful hand, but was drawing dead with his {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}, the {7-Hearts} on the river did nothing.

Christian Christner

Action folded to Christian Christner in the small blind, and the German player shoved all in for the 330,000 he had left. Nicolas Chouity in the big blind didn't waste much time calling.

Christian Christner: {J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Nicolas Chouity: {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The jack-seven was live, but he wouldn't hit. Instead Chouity hit the river, and so eliminated his neighbor: {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{A-Clubs}.

Nine players left now, all guaranteed $30,000.

Antonio Buonanno Eliminated in 9th Place ($30,000)

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Antonio Buonanno
Antonio Buonanno

Ori Miller had seen something wrong with the deck, and asked for a new set of cards to play with. In the meantime, he was busy discussing Daniel Colman and Olivier Busquet their t-shirts they wore at a Super High Roller final table a couple of weeks ago. But it was time to pay attention, as Alexander Nudin opened under the gun to 60,000.

Ori Miller made the call in middle position, and Antonio Buonanno three-bet to 200,000 from the hijack. Action folded to Nudin, who thought about it for a bit, but folded in the end.

Miller just sat there, no more discussion with Chouity. He then announced all in all of the sudden, for well over a million. Buonanno just about snap called.

Ori Miller: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Antonio Buonanno: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

The {K-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop was devastating for Buonanno, and the {7-Spades} on the turn and {Q-Diamonds} on the river didn't help.

"You asked for this deck?" laughed Lakhov, "I want this deck now"

Buonanno had Miller just slightly covered, leaving himself with 40,000. He waited one more hand, but was all in the next one for 30,000. Right behind him Igor Devkin isolated to 70,000, and no one else was interested.

Igor Devkin: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}
Antonio Buonanno: {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} on the flop gave Buonanno some hope, but the {6-Spades} on the turn and {J-Diamonds} on the river were blanks.
