Sofia Lövgren Eliminated in 26th Place ($10,800)

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Sofia Lövgren
Sofia Lövgren

Sofia Lövgren started out with 22 big blinds, but was slashed back to just 5 at the beginning of the day. Details of what had happened aren't around as of now, but we do have the specifics on her last hand,

The cutoff opened for 20,000, and Dmitry Gromov three bet from the button to 55,000. The small blind folded, but Sofia Lövgren in the big blind called all in for 52,000. The cutoff folded, it was up to Lövgren and Gromov.

Dmitry Gromov: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Sofia Lövgren: {10-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

Lövgren's hand was live, but she wouldn't hit: {K-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

Back to Sweden with $10,800 it is for Lövgren.

Gromov Makes A Big Bluff

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We arrived at the turn, with a board of {6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Dmitry Gromov and
Markus Ross in the hand.

Ross bet 20,000, and Gromov raised it up to 65,000. Ross made the call after some thinking.

The river brought the {3-Clubs} to the table, and Ross thought for some time. He eventually moved 80,000 forward, with about 225,000 behind.

Gromov stared, looked at his stack, started collecting chips, and raised to 160,000.

Ross hesitated for a second or what, and moved his hand to the muck.

While Gromov was collecting his new found chips, he rolled over {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for absolutely nothing.

Dmitry Mezhirov Eliminated in 25th Place ($10,800)

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Ori Miller opened to 20,000 from the under the gun position, and Alexander Bogdanov three bet to 60,000 after some hefty thinking. Christian Christner in the cutoff was paying close attention, and four bet to 105,000.

Now Dmitry Mezhirov moved all in over the top for 126,000, and Miller mucked instantly. Bogdanov went into the tank again, got the clock called on him, and called with seconds remaining. Christner could only call or fold, and choose the obvious first option.

{A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}

Bogdanov checked, and Christner moved all in. Bogdanov now folded with pain in his heart.

Christner: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Mezhirov: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The {3-Clubs} on the turn and {5-Spades} on the river couldn't save Mezhirov if his life depended on it, and in fact his tournament life did depend on it, and he left in 25th place ($10,800).

Alexander Bogdanov Doubles Through Christian Christner

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Alexander Bogdanov open shoved under the gun for this ramining 91,000. Christian Christner in middle positions informed himself how much it was, and called. Nikolay Baryshnikov in the small blind seemed very interested, but eventually folded.

Alexander Bogdanov: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}
Christian Christner: {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}

The {2-Spades}{K-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs} gave Bogdanov a flush, and he doubled up. Christner still has a lot of chips left, nothing to worry about.

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The remaining 24 players are on their first 15-minute break of the day.

Level: 21

Blinds: 6,000/12,000

Vitaly Zholudev Eliminated in 24th Place ($12,300)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Alexander Lakhov opened under the gun to 24,000, and Serdar Sağlam made the call two positions down. Markus Ross squeezed to 60,000 from the button, and Vitaly Zholudev moved all in from the small blind for 112,000.

Action quickly folded to Ross, and he made the call.

Vitaly Zholudev: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Markus Ross: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} flop gave Ross a lot of new ways to win the hand, but the {3-Diamonds} on the river didn't do it yet. The {A-Spades} on the river did though, and Zholudev made his exit in 24th place.

Michel Habib Eliminated in 23th Place ($12,300)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Michel Habib shoved all in for 98,000 from early position. Action folded to Andrejs Perederejevs in the small blind, and the man from Latvia shoved over the top all in for 330,000. The big blind folded.

Michel Habib: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Andrejs Perederejevs: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}

The {5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} on the flop brought four clear chop outs, but the {6-Clubs} on the turn and {Q-Hearts} on the river didn't deliver.

Serdar Sağlam Doubles With Kings Thorugh Ace-King

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Serdar Sağlam open shoved under the gun for 120,000 even, and big blind Marco Della Tommasina was quick to call.

Sağlam frowned, waited for Della Tommasina to show his {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}, and then tabled {K-Clubs}{K-Spades} himself.

The {3-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} on the flop gave Della Tommasina some outs, but the {6-Diamonds} on the turn and {2-Clubs} on the river were blanks and Sağlam doubled.

Marco Della Tommasina Eliminated in 22nd Place ($12,300)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Marco Della Tommasina shoved the remainder of his stack in from the hijack and Serdar Sağlam right behind him made the call. All other players folded, and Sağlam showed he was ready to finish the job.

Marco Della Tommasina: {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Serdar Sağlam: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The {4-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} board proved no help for the Italian, as he made his exit in 22nd place for $12,300.

The remaining 21 players are now guaranteed $13,800.
