Grudge Match

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Both opponents don't think about giving up and continue to trade pots back and forth. After a three-bet pot, Alex Goulder bet the {9-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} turn for 275,000 and Niclas Adolfsson called before folding the {6-Diamonds} river to another bet. The Swede had a gutshot and two over cards with {K-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} but then gave up the river, Goulder scooped the pot without showdown and {A-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} as hole cards.

Double Up for Adolfsson

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Alex Goulder grinded his opponent down and the first all in situation would occur. Niclas Adolfsson raised to 120,000, Goulder three-bet to 325,000 and called the all in of the Swede for 1,735,000.

Adolfsson: {8-Clubs} {8-Hearts}
Goulder: {A-Clubs} {Q-Spades}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {6-Clubs} and suddenly both opponents are almost even in chips again.

Goulder Building

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

First Alex Goulder called a bet of 85,000 on a flop of {Q-Hearts} {3-Spades} {2-Hearts} with the {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts} for a flush draw. Niclas Adolfsson checked through the {4-Clubs} turn and the {8-Diamonds}, Goulder bet the river and got the Swede to fold {A-Hearts} {6-Clubs}.

Adolfsson tried to bluff with {3-Clubs} {2-Clubs} through a board of {8-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {J-Spades} {9-Hearts} and Goulder called the river bet with {10-Clubs} {7-Hearts}. The Swede tried again shortly after with {8-} {5-} against the {9-Spades} {9-Clubs} of Goulder and dropped below 2 million in chips.

Goulder Folds Two Pair

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Until the {10-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {J-Spades} turn, a pot of 650,000 chips had emerged and Alex Goulder bet 325,000 with {K-Clubs} {4-Clubs}. Niclas Adolfsson called that bet with {K-Spades} {J-Hearts} for the higher two pair and the {8-Diamonds} on the river saved Goulder a lot of chips. Adolfsson bet 525,000 and the Brit indeed managed to fold two pair.

Quick Action

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Both players don't waste much time and trade many small pots. A slightly larger one happened on the turn of a {5-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {8-Spades} board when Adolfsson bet 120,000 with {8-Clubs} {7-Clubs} and then folded to the reraise of Goulder for 375,000 in total. The Brit had {J-Clubs} {5-Clubs} for trip fives.

Adolfsson Getting some Value

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Niclas Adolfsson raised to 80,000 and called the three-bet of Alex Goulder to 205,000 with {9-Hearts} {7-Hearts}. Goulder continued for 200,000 after a flop of {8-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {9-Spades} and then called a bet of the Swede for 335,000 on the {5-Spades} turn. Both players checked the {A-Hearts} on the river and the {Q-Hearts} {J-Hearts} of Goulder was no good.
