Shorr Not to be Fooled

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

David Peters has just sat down next to Shannon Shorr and saw the fellow American in the think tank on the river of a {4-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} board. His opponent bet 2,200 into a pot of 1,600 and Shorr eventually made the call, revealing {A-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} for a pair of aces. The pot was chopped versus the {A-Spades} {J-Clubs} of his opponent.

Little Running Away

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Alex Goulder raised to 300 and Jonathan Little made it 900 to go, which was called by Alexander Lakhov in the blinds and Goulder. On the {3-Spades} {2-Spades} {6-Clubs} flop, Lakhov checked and Goulder continued for 1,600 which both opponents called. The {7-Hearts} fell on the turn and the Brit continued for another 4,200, again neither opponent went anywhere and called.

The {J-Hearts} river completed the board and now all three players checked. Lakhov showed {8-Spades} {9-Spades} as first player after the button, Goulder did have a better hand than that but Little flipped over {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts} to scoop another big pot.

A Familiar Face from the Series

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Some faces you will barely ever forget even though the name may be slipping from the mind for a while. Iori Yogo has made it all the way to Prague and sat down on a table with Jean-Philippe Piquette. He just played a small pot with the Canadian and raised a flop of {J-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {5-Hearts} from 750 to 2,300. Piquette mucked his cards and Yogo claimed the pot.

Little Lets Go

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Jonathan Little raised to 400 and found one caller in the player in the big blind. On the {A-Spades} {9-Spades} {6-Diamonds} flop, his opponent check-called a continuation bet of 700 and then check-raised the {2-Spades} on the turn from 1,500 to 4,500. Little called the additional 3,000 after his second barrel and then faced a bet of 5,000 when the {6-Clubs} appeared on the river. Little folded and lost his first bigger pot today.

Lakhov Doubles Through Yogo

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Alex Goulder was the initial raiser and four other opponents called to see the flop of {J-Clubs} {10-} {3-Clubs}. Hell broke out in a raising war between Alexander Lakhov and Iori Yogo with the Russian four-bet shoving and Yogo calling with {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}. Lahkov held {8-Clubs} {9-Clubs} for the flush draw and straight draw, which hit thanks to a club on the river.

"Be Sorry only if you Bust me"

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

After a raise to 300 from the player on the button, Jean-Philippe Piquette raised to 750 out of the big blind and his opponent clicked it to 1,700. Piquette announced a raise to 4,100 and then moved all in after his opponent from Russia made it 10,000 to go. Piquette was all in for 16,250 and got a reluctant call to flip over {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}.

The Canadian had to look twice to make sure he was indeed called by the monster hand {6-Hearts} {5-Spades} and Piquette then laughed at his opponent with the words "be sorry only if you bust me." The board ran out {3-Clubs} {8-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {A-Spades} and Piquette is back above starting stack.
