So Many Pocket Aces

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Jason Wheeler
Jason Wheeler

Jason Wheeler busted in a massive pot with pocket kings against the pocket aces of Zo Karim and then Hamdam Shakib ran with {A-Hearts} {6-Hearts} into the {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} of Ankush Mandavia. Of course the elimination didn't occur without a sweat, as the {K-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} delivered a flush draw. The {4-Spades} on the river was a blank though and the German was out.

Czerwinski's Kings get Cracked as Well

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Krzysztof Czerwinski
Krzysztof Czerwinski

Joining the action on a flop of {J-Hearts} {2-Spades} {9-Diamonds}, Vladimir Malak check-called a bet of 20,000 and then check-raised all in after the {9-Spades} on the turn. Krzysztof Czerwinski had fired a second barrel worth 53,000 and called all in for what looked like 150,000 with {K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}. Malak was behind with {J-Spades} {10-Spades} but the dealer came to the rescue in the form of the {7-Spades} on the river.

Vamplew Busts Tsanev

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
David Vamplew and Nikolay Tsanev
David Vamplew and Nikolay Tsanev

After a raise by Chris Hunichen, David Vamplew moved all in and Nikolay Tsanev called all in for less, Hunichen got out of the way. It was the {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} for Vamplew against the {A-Spades} {Q-Spades} of Tsanev and the day 1b chip leader was drawing dead after the turn of a {A-Diamonds} {10-} {7-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {X-} board.

Hunichen Knocks out Kotas

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Jakub Kotas
Jakub Kotas

Jakub Kotas raised to 4,200 on the button and was called by both Manuel Sanchez Morito and Chris Hunichen in the blinds. On the {2-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {10-Spades} flop, the action was checked to Kotas and he bet 6,500. Sanchez Morito raised to 14,000 and Hunichen now reraised to 23,100.

Kotas moved all in for 91,000 and Sanchez Morito tanked for a while before letting go his cards. Hunichen almost folded but then changed his mind and called with {10-Clubs} {6-Spades}. The Czech only had {8-Clubs} {9-Clubs} for the straight draw and couldn't improve anymore with the {A-Diamonds} turn and {2-Diamonds} river as final community cards.

Langrock Busts Panyak

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Maxim Panyak
Maxim Panyak

Sebastian Langrock raised to 4,500 from early position and got two callers to the flop of {7-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}. The action was checked to Maxim Panyak on the button and he bet 13,000 with another 40,000 behind. The player in the big blind folded and Langrock check-raised all in to put the Russian at risk.

Panyak eventually called off with {Q-Clubs} {K-Clubs} for the open ended straight draw and Langrock had that beat with {10-Diamonds} {9-Clubs}. The {3-Hearts} on the turn changed nothing and the {2-Spades} on the river was a brick as well. Langrock is one of the contenders for the chip lead right now.

That was the Wrong Deuce

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Pierre Mothes
Pierre Mothes

After a preflop raise and three other players calling a bet of 8,900 on the {4-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} flop, Tom Hall moved all in for 65,000 on the {10-Diamonds} turn. Pierre Mothes had less chips and made the call with {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}. "Come on, one time. Give me the {2-Hearts}," the German demanded to the dealer.

His wish was not quite granted, as a deuce came but it was the {2-Clubs} that improved the Brit to a flush.

Mustafov Delivers Christmas Present

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Fahredin Mustafov
Fahredin Mustafov

Fahredin Mustafov started as one of the big stacks and also slightly increased his stack further to become a force to be reckoned. Until Seth Berger arrived at the table. The American just got gifted a huge double up for 110,000 preflop when the Bulgarian six-bet jammed with {J-} {10-} into the pocket kings of Berger. The {K-} {Q-} {2-} flop gave Mustafov some outs but two blanks later his stack was halved.

Down to Less than 100

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Sinem Melin
Sinem Melin

A couple of well known names hit the rail this level. Alessio Isaia was one of them, then Kevin MacPhee had a kicker problem with {A-} {5-} against the {A-} {Q-} of Adrian Eugen Constantin. And Sinem Melin just lost a flip to send her to the rail.

Emil Mattsson raised to 2,600 from under the gun and Melin was all in for 14,200 from middle position. In the big blind, Sandiep Khosa moved all in with the biggest stack of the three players and Mattsson eventually mucked.

Melin: {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}
Khosa: {K-Spades} {A-Diamonds}

The {9-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} flop was good for Melin, but Khosa improved on the {K-Diamonds} turn. Only a ten or jack would help Melin, yet the {4-Clubs} on the river was a brick.

Run Like MissOracle

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Daniel Laming
Daniel Laming

David "MissOracle" Yan is already up to 100,000 despite showing up late and even forgetting his passport. The online grinder had some sort of ID though and got into the tournament in level nine still. Just now he four-bet shoved against Daniel Laming's pocket queens and won the flip with {A-} {K-} thanks to an ace on the turn.
