Many Chips on This Table

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Seth Berger check-called a 6,000-bet by Vladimir Velikov on the {3-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {10-Clubs} flop and then both players checked down the {3-Hearts} on the turn and the {2-Hearts} on the river. Berger showed {Q-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} for an open ended straight draw that never arrived and Velikov won the pot with {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}. Two of the top chip stacks are on the very same table.

Minor Setback for Piquette

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Jean-Philippe Piquette had already won a few more chips since we last checked the table, just now he dropped the profit. He raised and called the preflop all in of Tom Hall with {J-Diamonds} {10-Spades}, Hall had {A-Clubs} {7-Hearts}. Neither player hit anything at all on the board and ace-high scooped the double up.

Down to Less than 100

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Sinem Melin
Sinem Melin

A couple of well known names hit the rail this level. Alessio Isaia was one of them, then Kevin MacPhee had a kicker problem with {A-} {5-} against the {A-} {Q-} of Adrian Eugen Constantin. And Sinem Melin just lost a flip to send her to the rail.

Emil Mattsson raised to 2,600 from under the gun and Melin was all in for 14,200 from middle position. In the big blind, Sandiep Khosa moved all in with the biggest stack of the three players and Mattsson eventually mucked.

Melin: {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}
Khosa: {K-Spades} {A-Diamonds}

The {9-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} flop was good for Melin, but Khosa improved on the {K-Diamonds} turn. Only a ten or jack would help Melin, yet the {4-Clubs} on the river was a brick.

Lykov Busts to Oboodi

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Bobby Oboodi raised to 3,000 from the button and Max Lykov moved all in from one seat over for his last 20,500 chips. The player in the big blind folded and Oboodi called with {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}. Lykov had two live cards with {7-Clubs} {8-Clubs} and indeed improved on the {7-Spades} {J-Clubs} {K-Hearts} flop. The {9-Spades} on the turn was a blank, but the {A-Spades} river sent him to the rail.

Another seat open at the same time was Atanas Kavrakov of Bulgaria.

Kürschner Busts Millian

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

On a turn of {A-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {9-Hearts} {7-Hearts}, Benjamin Millian was all in for another 8,600 on top of a bet by Matthias Kürschner and the German called with {A-Spades} {Q-Spades}. Millian only had {A-Hearts} {J-Clubs} and the kicker problem would result in his elimination with the {K-Spades} river completing the board. Kiryl Radzivonau and Jack Salter have also been sent to the rail.

Larson Doesn't Show

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Online qualifier Carla Larson just moved all in after a flop of {J-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {6-Spades} and there were about 12,000 chips in the middle. The all in of the Canadian was for three times of that (34,800) and Sergio Cabrera was totally confused. "You wouldn't do that with aces, right?" he asked. Still no decision was in sight and Larson finally called time on her opponent.

Cabrera started laughing into the one minute of consideration and ended up folding the {J-Diamonds}. Larson silently pushed her cards to the dealer before collecting the chips and heading into the break.
