A Slower Pace

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Ever since we've reached a final table of 10 the pace has been a lot slower, but we're almost certainly not too far from losing another player.

Van Leeuwen Loses a Hand

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

This title is the most unlike one we've written all day, as Niels van Leeuwen has been on a tear up until this point. Van Leeuwen just raised and called Tran's shove for 331,000 chips and the showdown went as following.

Van Leeuwen: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Tran: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {Q-Spades}{K-Clubs}{2-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and while players joked that Van Leeuwen couldn't lose the pot was shipped to Tran. Tran's now sitting a lot more comfortable but Van Leeuwen still has a very commanding chip lead with 10 players remaining.
