A total of 324 entries have been made into the first ever Dutch World Poker Tour Main Event over the first two starting days. 151 players currently remain in the WPT Amsterdam, but that number might just increase as registration is open till start of play today at 2pm (in little over an hour). Once registration closes, the prize pool will be announced, but one thing is already clear; this is one of the biggest tournaments ever in Holland.
The 151 players return for level 10 today (500/1,000 with a 100 ante), with an average stack of 64 big blinds. WPT Champions Club Member Giacomo Fundaro is in the lead with 234,000 in chips. Day 1a chip leader Fredrik Andersson (228,100) and Master Classics of Poker champion Noah Boeken (195,200) are close behind. Today's levels will be 90 minutes long, with a break after every level. The money won't be reached today, bursting the bubble will happen on Day in all likelihood.

Dominik Nitsche started the day with just 13,600 chips and he's already managed to double up twice. Just now we saw a player under the gun raise to 2,500 and Nitsche three-bet to 6,200, two seats over.
The action folded back to the initial raiser and he moved all in to put Nitsche at risk.

The two Dutch high rollers Jonas ten Cate and Floris van der Ven are seated right next to each other, and the two of them told us a hand together they just played against each other.
Floris van der Ven opened with and Jonas ten Cate made the call with . One more player joined in and the three of them saw a flop of . After a check from the player in the blinds, Van der Ven made a continuation bet. That bet was just called by Ten Cate, the player in the blinds folded.
A hit the turn and Van der Ven decided "to do something fancy, and check". Ten Cate "did something fancy as well, and checked behind."
After the two both checked the turn, a completed the board. Van der Ven made a big bet and Ten Cate called, mucking his lower full house to Van der Ven's effective third nuts.
The two of them smiled about it, discussing that if they played it almost in any other way, the money would've gone in. "I'm freerolling!" Ten Cate said, with his tournament life saved by his creative play.
One of the more accomplished pros in today's field has already been knocked out. Luca Moschitta ended up all in for his tournament life before the flop and the showdown went as following.

Cor Janssen opened to 3,000 from late position and action folded to big blind David Boyaciyan. While the former MCOP champion contemplated his move, Janssen remarked "Ik pik niet", which translates to "I don't steal."
Boyaciyan didn't believe Janssen and made it 8,400 to go. Janssen almost instantly four-bet to 23,000, and Boyaciyan shoved for a bit more, Janssen called.

The board ran out and the tournament lost one of its champions. Janssen plays a pretty big stack now, he already won a hand before this one and now plays around 260,000.
Bryn Kenney has just been eliminated and he shared with us the details of the hand. A player in middle position raised to 2,000 and the button called after which Kenney shoved 35,000 from the small blind holding .
The player in the big blind woke up with and made the call, after which the other two players folded.
Kenney did not manage to hit one of his outs, and he's off to entertain himself in the city.
Dominik Nitsche just walked up the steps to make his way out of the poker room, and he explained to us how he got knocked out.
Joep van den Bijgaart raised before the flop and Senh Ung called after which Nitsche three-bet to 8,000 holding . Van den Bijgaart made it 18,000, Ung folded and Nitsche moved all in for around 36,000 chips.
Van den Bijgaart called holding pocket tens, and his hand held up.
"It's a shame I can't re-enter anymore," Nitsche laughed as he left the premises.
Jochum Weenink raised before the flop and Jorn Walthaus called after which a third player got involved from the blinds.
The flop brought out and Weenink bet 4,500 after the other player had checked, and Walthaus called. The player in the blinds folded and on the turn, the , both players checked.
The river was the and Weenink bet enough to put Walthaus all in. Walthaus snap-called for 22,900 total and Weenink showed for a set of kings. Walthaus showed for a set of aces and he doubled up.
Senh Ung has just received a huge double up after coolering Steve Warburton in a confrontation of big hands.
USG raised to 2,600 from early position and Warburton called in middle position. At this point Dominik Nitsche was still in the tournament, and her three-bet to 8,000. Ung made it 16,000, Warburton moved all in and Nitsche folded.
