Day 1b is underway and there are already some familiar names among the 100 starters.
Expect fireworks from Ali Mallu who is infamous for playing any two cards regardless of the action before him. Another aggressive player is Waheed "Wadey" Ashraf who is one of the biggest winners here at Dusk Till Dawn.
Speaking of fireworks, there is a fireworks party on November 5, which happens to be Bonfire Night in the UK. Starting at 10:00pm, there is free food and drink, a live band called Tru Groove, a DJ and "not to be missed" fireworks display. Be there or be square.
Welcome back to PokerNews' coverage of the 2015 World Poker Tour UK Main Event where at 12:00pm GMT Day 1b begins.
The opening starting flight saw 148 players exchange £2,200 for 30,000 tournament chips and the chance of joining an elite group of players in becoming a WPT champion. After the completion of 10 hour-long levels, only 56 of those players still had chips in front of them.
Nobody had more chips to cram into their overnight chip bags that Simon Deadman, who turned his 30,000 starting stack into a massive 312,500 to claim the overnight chip lead by some margin. Deadman's nearest rival is Daniel Parsonage who returns to the action on Day 2 with a still impressive 201,300 chips, going to show how substantial Deadman's lead is.
Day 1b needs 352 players in order to hit the lofty guarantee meaning it should be a busy day here at Dusk Till Dawn. Late registration is open until the end of the sixth level and the players will grind for 10 hour-long levels before calling it a night.
Stay tuned to PokerNews for all of the action from this superb event.
