Day 3 Started

The Money Bubble Looms

2015 WPT UK Main Event
2015 WPT UK Main Event

There has been much excitement at Dusk Till Dawn during the past week with the Halloween celebrations, then the fireworks party and today is the most exciting of all — it's the day the money bubble bursts.

At 12:00 pm, 59 players return to their seats in the 2015 partypoker World Poker Tour UK Main Event knowing that only five of them will be eliminated without any prize money to show for their effort. Fifty-four places are paid and once those positions are reached, everyone who has even a solitary chip in front of them locks up £4,500. Not only that, but they'll also be in with a chance at walking away with the £200,000 first-place prize.

Paul Dando is the man to catch going into Day 3; he is armed with 775,000 chips and it would take a crazy run of cards for him not to reach the money. Hot on Dando's heels is Philip Hepburn (643,500) and Julien Rouxel (621,000) while such luminaries as Billy Chattaway (465,000), Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi (425,000) and Simon Deadman (406,000) are lurking.

PokerNews is still awaiting confirmation of Day 3's schedule, but it is thought there will be five 90-minute levels played, during which time the number of entrants will be drastically reduced. The second we have confirmation of today's schedule, you will find it on these very pages.

Join us from midday UK time as we bring you live coverage of the 2015 partypoker WPT UK Main Event. Hold onto your hats, this could be an explosive one!

Forsyth-Forrest Three-bets Koh

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Chin Chai Koh, better-known as "Chinese Frankie" raised to 8,500 from early position, two players folded and Anthony Forsyth-Forrest asked him how many chips he had behind. Frankie didn't answer, although he did move his hands to give Forsyth-Forrest sight of his stack.

Armed with this information, Forsyth-Forrest three-bet to 20,500. This bet folded out the other players, including Frankie who now sits with 100,000 chips.

Mizrachi Wins an Early Pot

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Jamie O'Connor was the first to act and he raised to 8,000 from the hijack. Michael Mizrachi called in the cutoff, Chi Zhang called on the button, Robert Davies called in the small blind and Craig McCorkell made it five players to the {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop.

Everyone checked to Mizrachi who bet 10,000. Only O'Connor called and the dealer placed the {J-Spades} on the turn. O'Connor checked, Mizrachi bet 20,000 and it was enough to win the pot.

"I Have a Very Good Hand."

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Yiannis Liperis limped in from under the gun and the action folded to Ben Dobson in the cutoff. Dobson seemed like he was about to pull the trigger and put in a raise, but he ultimately folded. Fuad Serhan checked his hole cards, looked who was left to act, and raised all-in for 132,000. Mitchell Johnson folded in the big blind, putting the action back on Liperis.

After 15-seconds or so, Serhan asked the dealer if he was allowed to talk. When told he could, he began his speech play.

"I have a very good hand. I can beat ace-king, ace-queen, and ace-jack," said Serhan. "Let's keep this friendly and stay here for a little bit longer. I tell you, I have a very good hand, you won't be disappointed when you see it, I will show you."

Liperis folded a couple of minutes later and Serhan asked if he would like to see his hand.

"Which hand would you like to see? This one or this one?" turning his hands palm up.

Serhan then turned his cards over to reveal {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}. Liperis joked that he had aces and didn't want to bubble and Serhan said he didn't believe him.

"If anyone doesn't like me talking, I will give you my headphones when we're in a hand," offered Serhan while the dealer prepared to deal another hand.
