First Break on Day 3

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The players have been sent into a 15-minute break and Eugenio Landi doubled up once again in the very last hand of the level. His {A-Diamonds} {10-Spades} won against Mohamed Mamouni's {K-Clubs} {J-Clubs} for 258,000 on a board of {Q-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds}.

Lombaerts Doubles; Landi Does Too

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

In a huge preflop all in, Eugenio Landi was left very short after losing with pocket jacks to the pocket aces of Nico Lombaerts. Landi would then call all in for 125,000 out of the big blind when Mike Gerry open-shoved from the small blind.

Gerry: {8-Spades} {7-Clubs}
Landi: {K-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}

The board ran out {J-Spades} {4-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} to give the Italian a straight.

Kamel Djemai Eliminated in 15th Place (€5,210)

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Kamel Djemai - 15th place
Kamel Djemai - 15th place

Kamel Djemai raised from early position and Mohamed Mamouni just flat-called out of the big blind. After a flop of {J-Spades} {7-Spades} {4-Clubs}, Mamouni check-raised all in and Djemai, who made a continuation bet of 90,000 and started the hand with around 400,000 chips, called off.

Mamouni: {A-Hearts} {J-Clubs}
Djemai: {K-Hearts} {J-Diamonds}

Neither the {9-Diamonds} turn nor {8-Hearts} river changed anything and Djemai took his belongings before heading to the payout desk.

Up and Down

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Julien Brulet defended his big blind against the raise of Jozsef Szabo before check-calling a bet on the {7-Spades} {5-Clubs} {J-Spades} flop and a second barrel of 100,000 on the {2-Hearts} turn. The {9-Clubs} river was checked through and Szabo's {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} won the pot.

Mohamed Mamouni is back to where he started today after taking chips off Nico Lombaerts.

Ravier Shoves Twice

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

First Florian Ravier shoved into a raise of Yehoram Houri in a battle button versus small blind. The next hand, Ravier moved all in from the button and the action was folded to Heinrich Pauker. He peeked at his cards and then said to his opponent in French "in cash game I call" before mucking {4-Spades} {3-Spades}.

Jean Marie Vandeborne has been able to extract some chips lately as well and moved above average.

Nicolas Nicolopoulos Eliminated in 16th Place (€4,460)

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Nicolas Nicolopoulos - 16th place
Nicolas Nicolopoulos - 16th place

Heinrich Pauker raised to 53,000 and was called by Nicolas Nicolopoulos in the cutoff as well as Erwann Pecheux in the big blind. On the {3-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} flop, Pecheux check-folded and Pauker continued with a bet of 67,000. Nicolopoulos moved all in for 310,000 and Pauker eventually tank-called.

Pauker: {A-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}
Nicolopoulos: {9-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}

The {Q-Diamonds} turn left the Belgian drawing dead and a meaningless {2-Hearts} river completed the board.

Mamouni Shoves on Lombaerts

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Nico Lombaerts raised to 54,000 from under the gun and was called by Kyne Elmouloua in the small blind as well as Mohamed Mamouni in the big blind. On a flop of {2-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {9-Clubs}, Mamouni check-raised and Lombaerts folded after forfeiting his 80,000-continuation bet.
